ORGANISERS have revealed the final headliner for Thame’s Towersey Festival.
British country duo The Shires are the last act to be unveiled, joining the programme alongside the likes of The Proclaimers, who were announced last month.
Towersey will see in its 54th year this August, delighting crowds with four days of music, workshops and film screenings.
It bills The Shires, made up of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, as ‘the biggest-selling UK country act of all time’.
The pair were the first UK country act to receive an award from the American Country Music Association., and will close Towersey Festival on Monday, August 27.
