OXFORD Brookes gained some new students for a few days only when a group special guests arrived from across the Atlantic.
From Monday until tomorrow the university is running an exchange programme with the University of Windsor in Canada as part of its international strategy.
Students at Oxford Brookes department of biological and medical sciences will spend the four days teaming up with their counterparts from the Odette School of Business and the nursing and law faculties at the Canadian university.
Programme lead for biology and environment at Oxford Brookes Deborah Pearce said: "We are delighted to welcome students from the University of Windsor to Oxford Brookes this week for what will be a unique experience for all the students involved.
"This project started a few weeks ago and it is a new and innovative way of mixing online and offline learning activities and using technology to enhance the student learning experience."
Throughout the week students from the Odette School of Business will have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired in real-life business situations and provide advice to Oxford Brookes' students.
