More than 80 students at an Oxford University college are being put up at a hotel because their new hall of residence has not yet been been completed.
But it's not all bad news - they get to use the pool, the gym, and enjoy a cooked breakfast every day at the Jurys Inn hotel in Wolvercote.
The £18m Cohen Quadrangle for Exeter College in Walton Street was due to be ready before the end of term.
But the new hall on the site of the former Ruskin College is not ready and students have been at the hotel since October 6.
Third year economics and management student Harry Williams, 20, is one of the students who has been put up at the hotel where a double room can cost £84 a night.
He said: "We have a pool and a gym which is nice and after our lecture we come back here in the evening - it's a slightly longer commute.
"We are all excited about the Cohen Quad which will be equally nice but closer to the city centre."
Mr Williams said the college decided to accommodate the students in the hotel following discussions with the student body.
He added: "The college has been very communicative and has done everything it can to minimise the disruption.
"There's a conference room that we have turned into a common room where students can relax in the evening with a TV and computers.
It is not yet known how long it will be before the Cohen building is completed.
Mr Williams added: "The new student accommodation in Walton Street will be top notch."
A spokesman for Exeter College said there was no single reason for the completion of the Cohen building being delayed.
He added: "The site and building are complex and it has taken longer to complete than anticipated.
"We are currently expecting to move in on October 31 but this has yet to be fully confirmed by the contractor.
"We were careful in our choice of hotel to ensure that all of our students were housed together in suitable accommodation.
"Although it is further out from the city centre than we would have liked, keeping them together as a cohort was felt to be vitally important for social, emotional, and security issues.
"A common room has been created at the hotel, and college staff will have an office on site seven days a week.
"All students have been provided with a bus pass to enable them easy and rapid travel into the centre of Oxford and they will not pay rent for the duration that they are residing at the hotel.
"The whole college community remains excited and enthusiastic about what Cohen Quad will achieve for this and future generations of Exeter students."
