POLICE officers are hunting for suspects who allegedly fled the A34 at Chilton following reports of an attempted generator theft.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Charlotte Redman said: "We were called at 2.41pm today to reports that three men in a Renault were attempting to steal a generator to tie onto their vehicle.
"It caused part of the road to be closed which has reopened.
"One man was arrested and a further two are being looked for."
She said she did not have specific details of the location.
NPAS Benson, which carries out helicopter searches for the force, said in a tweet that it was patrolling the A34 "following a decamp" near Harwell.
