FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which "destroyed" a caravan after it erupted into flames.
Crews from Bicester Fire Station dampened down the scorching vehicle off the A41 near Blackthorn this afternoon.
The station tweeted that the caravan was "destroyed by fire and gas cylinder" at about 2.40pm.
It said no-one was injured and it believed the fire was sparked accidentally.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service warns about fire hazards in caravans on its website, advising: "Caravans have different fire risks to buildings because they are generally small enclosed spaces and have additional hazards like gas cylinders."
