Three homes are still left in the dark after a power cut affected 15 Abingdon homes starting at around 12pm today.
SSE have apologised for the lack of supply and say they are working to get the power back on as quickly as possible.
Spokesman for SSE Matthew Pittam said: "12 homes have had their power restored, but engineers in the area are still working hard to get the power on for the remaining homes.
"We do have a welfare van on site, which will be providing hot food and drinks for the homes without power.
"Our main priority is taking care of these people's welfare."
Mr Pittam said he hoped the remaining houses would have power restored by 10pm tonight.
He added: "At the moment we do not have a cause for the power cut.
"Our engineers go into restore the power and then will assess the causes afterwards."
