Banned from driving for three years, fined £350 and ordered to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.
Ollie Cheney, 20, of Hopton Road, Thame, admitted handling stolen cheques, of a value unknown, in Thame on April 9. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.
Jose Da Silva, 53, of the Oxfordshire Inn Hotel, Bletchingdon, was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Bletchingdon on April 9. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to join a 12-month rehabilitation programme. Also ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £600 costs.
Nicholas Duffy, 66, of Sayers Orchard, Didcot, admitted touching a woman sexually without her consent in Didcot on August 25. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.
Annabel Reynolds, 20, of Thames View, Abingdon, admitted burgling a house in Thames View, Abingdon, and stealing an iPad mini, two Macbook laptops, a mobile phone charger and £15 cash. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to take part in a 12-month rehabilitation programme. Also ordered to pay £500 compensation and a £180 criminal courts charge.
Callum Lewis, 18, of Windmill House, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a Community Order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court by failing to attend supervision sessions on July 22, August 21, August 28 and September 9. Fined £50.
Karl Scales, 26, of O’Hanlon House, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 13 by failing to attend unpaid work on August 24 and 25. Community order made with a 28-day curfew between 8pm and 8am and ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge.
Jake Dean, 18, of Hurst Street, Oxford, convicted of burgling a flat above the Duke of Monmouth pub in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on April 10 and stealing two bottles of Captain Morgan rum and a bottle of Bacardi. Ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £440 costs.
James Redshaw, 31, of Coltsfoot Square, Oxford, admitted making a phone call which was grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing in character in Oxfordshire on July 21. Ordered to take part in rehabilitation activity for 20 days and prohibited from approaching or communicating with two named people. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.
Desmon Jones, 32, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food of an unknown value from the Co-op in Woodstock on November 2. Also admitted stealing food from the same shop with another person on October 14. Further admitted stealing food from the same shop with another person on November 4. Made subject to a community order requiring him to have treatment for drug dependency for six months. Ordered to pay a total of £300 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Caroline Walls, 39, of Linnet Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing bottles of perfume worth £320 from Boots in Oxford on June 26. Also admitted stealing bottles of perfume worth £320 from Boots in Oxford on June 24. Further admitted stealing 20 bottles of spirits from Waitrose in Witney on July 4, three bottles of spirits from the Co-op in Botley on July 4, 10 bottles of spirits from the Co-op in Carterton on September 29, 10 bottles of spirits the Co-op in Botley on July 24 and several bottles of spirits from Sainsbury’s in Templar Retail Park, Oxford, on July 3. Sentenced to eight months in prison suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay a total of £1,985.27 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.
Billy Clarke, 28, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Reynolds Way, Abingdon, on August 7. Given a Community Order requiring participation in a Building Better Relationships programme for 31 days and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.
Waqas Ali Latif, 19, of Milton Road, Oxford, convicted driving a car that had no MOT, without a licence or insurance and without wearing a seatbelt in Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, on June 23. Admitted failing to answer bail at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 11, having been released on criminal proceedings. Fined £220, driving licence endorsed with six points and ordered to pay £200 costs and a £250 criminal courts charge.
Ryan Fouracre, 24, of Grebe Close, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a male and female by beating them on September 12. Given a community order requiring participation in a Building Better Relationships programme for 25 days and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Restraining order made until March 31, 2016. Also ordered to pay £350 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
