A total of five fire engines along with crews from Warwickshire & Northamptonshire were also called to the scene to help bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby trees.
As the fire is likely to be burning for some time, fire crews remained on site overnight and will probably be there until later today.
The cause of the fire is currently being nvestigated and has been reported to Thames Valley Police as possibly being suspicious.
