A man who died on the M40 on July 27 has been described as a “loving and beautiful husband, son, brother, uncle and godfather.”

Alex Green, 29, died when the car he was driving hit the crash barrier on the road and burst into flames on July 27. He and Mark Smith, 33, were travelling to Kent when the crash happened.

His wife Jessica said: “We spent 10 wonderful years together. He was my best friend as well as my husband and we knew each other inside out.”
