THE Blavatnik School of Government – the latest striking building nearing completion in Oxford – is continuing to take shape.
In the past few weeks, builders completed the careful task of lifting the widest pane of glass into place on the first floor of the Walton Street building. And with a height of 22.5 metres, it will offer some of the best views of the dreaming spires.
The building is scheduled to be finished in September, in time for the first new students of the year.
Construction started at the beginning of 2014 and the school has been streaming the progress live via a webcam at bsg.ox.ac.uk/node/709
