A burglar who left his blood at the scene of a break-in has been jailed for 20 months.
A jury at Oxford Crown Court took just 27 minutes yesterday to find Jason Bourton, of Fern Hill Road, Cowley, guilty of a burglary in Henley Road, Sandford-on-Thames, between September 7 and 15 last year.
The 35-year-old took a watch, mobile phones and cuff links, worth a total of about £600.
Richard Moss, prosecuting, said two samples of blood matching Bourton’s DNA were found inside the house.
