ONE of the prisoners who escaped from a jail near Bicester has handed himself in.
Lewis Hoare, 27, and Kenneth Simmonds, 43, absconded from Spring Hill Open Prison at Edgcott at about 1pm on Sunday.
Hoare handed himself in to British Transport Police at South Ruislip Station, London, at about 11pm last night.
Simmonds is of medium build and has blue eyes, short brown hair and is also clean shaven.
He has a scar above his right eyebrow and another under his left eye and has two tattoos, one of a panther on his left forearm and one of a panther's head on his right forearm.
Simmonds is yet to be found.
Det Insp Joe Banfield: "Thames Valley Police is working closely with the Prison Service to try and locate Simmonds, who walked out of Spring Hill Open Prison.
“If any member of the public sees either Hoare or Simmonds do not approach them, instead call 999."
