A ROAD shut after a car was engulfed in flames has now fully reopened.
The A34 Northbound was shut this morning after police were called to reports of a silver Renault on fire and smoke billowed across the carriageway.
One lane was reopened within half an hour and the road was fully open again by 9am.
The incident caused significant tailbacks on the A34 and Oxford Bus Company Tweeted saying there are delays of up to 30 minutes due to the congestion.
