SIX men accused of involvement in child sexual exploitation have appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court.
The alleged victims are three girls, who were aged between 13 and 15 at the time that they were said to have been abused.
The court heard the alleged incidents took place between 2011 and 2014 in houses in Banbury, in People’s Park, Princess Diana Park, and Banbury United Football Club, all in Banbury, and a Vauxhall Corsa car.
The defendants spoke only to confirm their names, date of birth and addresses.
None of them entered a plea.
District judge Andrew Vickers refused bail for all six and they are to remain in custody until they appear at Oxford Crown Court on July 4.
Ahmed Hassan-Sule, aged 20, of Glyndebourne Gardens, Banbury, has been charged with nine counts of sexual activity with a child.
Said Saleh, aged 20, of Orchard Way, Banbury, has been charged with one count of sexual activity with a child.
Mohamed Saleh, aged 21, of Orchard Way, Banbury, has been charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of rape of a female under 16.
Takudzwa Hova, aged 21, of Broughton Road, Banbury, has been charged with one count of sexual activity with a child, one count of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of rape of a female under 16.
Kagiso Manase, aged 20, of Warwick Road, Banbury, was charged with three counts of sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Originally from South Africa, he is also being investigated by the Border Agency.
The final defendant Alexandru Nae, aged 19, of Broome Way, Banbury, has been charged with one count of sexual activity with a child and one count of rape of a child under 16.
