TWO-YEAR-OLD Ellie-May Doran was remembered at a funeral service held yesterday.
The toddler died after a collision with a reversing car in Oaks View Park, Upper Arncott, on March 15.
Police had warned of traffic congestion as a large number of guests were due to travel to the funeral in Northampton after a Mass was held in Bicester on Sunday.
About 200 people came to the Mass to celebrate her life at The Parish of The Immaculate Conception, The Causeway, Bicester, before the young girl’s funeral took place at St Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church in Park Avenue, Northampton, at midday yesterday.
Ellie-May left behind her mother Sarah-Jane, father Milo, five-year-old brother Patrick, and sister Bridget-Marie, three.
A 48-year-old man from Upper Arncott was last night rebailed by police following his arrest on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He must now answer bail again on April 29.
