BURSTING onto the internet with their travel blogs, these women visited Oxford to get a taste of the city of dreaming spires.
VisitBritain invited 31 travel writers from 19 countries to experience different regions, attractions and activities across Britain.
American travel writer Rachelle Lucas regularly blogs about food, travel, culture and history on http://thetravelbite.com She said: “My favourite moment in Oxford was lunch at The Eagle and Child pub in St Giles."
Fellow bloggers Katie Goldstein, Melissa Monaco,Tiia Ohman and Essi Suomela enjoyed seeing sites on the tour, which included visits to Christ Church in St Aldate’s.
The global bloggers trip includes visits to North Wales, the Lake District, the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon.
A VisitBritain spokeswoman said: "VisitBritain is pleased to have brought these inter-national bloggers to Oxford to experience it's rich heritage and culture.
“From stepping into the scenes of iconic films at Christ Church college to enjoying proper fish and chips at The Eagle and Child as C.S. Lewis once did, there is a historic moment around every corner."
The bloggers are using the #GREATBritain hashtag to share views.
