UP to 500 teachers marched through the city centre today in protest at Government changes to the education system.
More than half of the schools across Oxfordshire were closed, or partially closed, as teachers from the NUT and NASWUT went on strike.

After hearing speeches from teachers and parents, they marched from Bonn Square, down Queen Street, into Cornmarket, and down St Michael's Street, chanting "Michael Gove it's time to go".
Teachers across the south east are striking over pay, pensions and working conditions.
A cohort of Oxfordshire teachers also travelled to London to take part in a rally in the capital.
NUT local secretary Gawain Little said: "We are really pleased with the turnout today. It shows the strength of feeling from teachers and they care passionately about education."
