A gang of thieves who carried out a jewellery heist are still at large six months on.

The thieves targeted a couple as they parked their car on Burford High Street and were emptying valuables from the boot at around 6.15pm on November 19, 2023.

The group of six then made off in a dark-coloured SUV with false number plates that had been stolen from another vehicle in the area shortly before.

The getaway vehicle was believed to have left Burford High Street, driven along Priory Lane and Tanners Lane before heading back along the A40 and possibly along the A361 in the Lechlade direction.

"But if unchallenged, the gang could go on to cause more harm.

"If you prefer not to contact the police directly, then Crimestoppers, which is independent of law enforcement, gives you a way of saying what you know without passing on your own personal details.
