A bubble tea shop in Bicester has been handed a low food hygiene rating after a recent inspection.
Chakai at the Bicester Shopping Park in Kelso Road was given a score of two-out-of-five after an inspection on March 20 from the council’s environmental health team.
The assessment means improvement is deemed to be "necessary".

It means that of Cherwell's 229 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 169 (74 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
The inspection looks at hygienic food handling, cleanliness and the condition of facilities and management of food safety.
The establishment’s hygienic food handling was the contributing factor to the low rating.
Businesses given low ratings are told what specific improvements are needed to improve hygiene standards.
