A TRIAL date has been set after a man denied beating another in Oxford.
Kevin Ndirangu appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (May 3) charged with one count each of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating – both of which allegedly took place on March 21 this year.
The 34-year-old pleaded not guilty to both charges.

However, he did plead guilty to a third count, one of sending a communication of an offensive nature.
He admitted to sending a woman an online message between July and August last year which was ‘grossly offensive’.
Ndirangu, of Hayes Close, Bristol, will now stand trial at the same court on September 16. He will be sentenced for the third count after the trial.
