A pub in Kidlington is set to hold a charity event for a mental health organisation set up in honour of an Oxford United legend.
Six Bells will be hosting an Aunt Sally tournament on May 4 in aid of the Joey Beauchamp Foundation.
The foundation was established as a tribute to the Oxford United legend who took his own life two years ago.
Aunt Sally is a traditional English game in which players throw sticks or battens at a ball, known as a 'dolly', balanced on top of a stick.
The pub has already confirmed 22 teams, with more spots available, including a children's competition
Entry to the tournament costs £20 per team, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Toby Merridan, the licensee at Six Bells, said: "We are really looking forward to welcoming the community on Saturday to the annual Aunt Sally tournament, raising money for such a fantastic cause.
"I can’t wait to see all our regular and hopefully some new customers this weekend.”
There will also be a children's zone with games and face painting, and a raffle to raise additional funds.
Paul Barnfather, business development manager at Admiral Taverns, which owns the pub, said: "It’s great to see the community coming together for this event, raising money for an extremely important cause.
"This Saturday is certainly not to be missed and I wish Toby and his team all the best."
